Feel warm inside with the limited edition Vimto Hot Mulled Berry Punch

I love Vimto!  I know I say that a lot but I really do and happy memories flood over me when I think back to the warm Vimto drinks my Mum gave me in the winter on my return from school.

Vimto have now launched a limited edition Hot Mulled Berry Punch which is great for a warming winter drink or for a Christmas drink to serve to guests that are driving.

The Punch includes cinnamon, cloves and sweet nutmeg and unlike some other drinks it has a delicate smell rather than overpowering and the traditional Vimto taste is still evident even with the additions.  I have been trying the Mulled Berry Punch recently and I have to say I have become quite partial to it in the evenings!

It is available exclusively at Tesco for £1.89 for a 725ml bottle which will make approximately 14 drinks.

Spooky Halloween cocktails with Vimto

One of the drinks that remind me most about my childhood is Vimto.  My Mum used to make it with hot water for a warm soothing drink on cold nights and I still like to do the same now.

With Halloween coming I thought I would share some spooky Halloween Vimto cocktails with you.. We made some recently and I have to say they tasted really nice even if they had some spooky additions in the glass!!!


Spooky Strawberry Heart
At a Halloween get together what better drink to serve to your guests - sure to cause a stir!  Pour some Cranberry juice into a glass...

Next top up with some No Added Sugar Vimto ...

Keep up the fear factor with a ‘Bleeding Heart’ made out of a BBQ stick speared strawberry. Simply dunk the ‘heart’ into the glass and serve.

We decided to add our own twist on the bleeding heart strawberry and see what effect two olives would have instead.  Keep poking out of the glass for two eyeballs on stalks.....

...or dunk into the glass and let the eyes peer out of the Vimto cocktail!

Eyeball Surprise

Use an ice cream scoop to make two ‘eyeballs’ of ice cream and press jelly sweets into each one to create the eyes pupils. Place them in the bottom of a tall chilled glass. Fill the glass two thirds full of delicious fizzy Vimto and watch the fiendish foam froth over the top of the glass.

Serve to your friends fiendish foam and all!
