Well we have been using the Maclaren Travel Kit for Baby for several days now and I wanted to let you know how I was getting on....
We started with the Calming Bath Milk in Tala's bath. I carefully added a capful of the product to his running bath and I could see the water turn a milky white colour and a
very gentle aroma filled the room. I was worried that the bath would be slippery as the ingredients were essentials oils but this was not the case, although I felt I needed to add another capful to the bath for 'good measure'. I was disappointed that the aroma was not stronger but then again it was not meant to be an overpowering bath experience for babies! Tala certainly seemed happy and content. The Soothing Soap in this kit was easy to use and produced a rich and luxurious feeling lather. Again the item
did not leave a slippery feeling which can make bathing a baby more difficult. The soap smell was slightly stronger than that of the Bath Milk. Whilst bathing we lit the Natural Wax Celebration Candle which filled the bathroom with a lovely smell although I did find this did not burn for long before running out and I would have welcomed a slightly larger size to really appreciate the aroma fully.

Enjoying a relaxing bath.......

After getting Tala out of the bath, I tried the Protecting Nappy Change Balm on Tala. I was surprised by this item as I expected it to be more like 'traditional' thick nappy creams which stick to the skin but this balm was smooth and lighter in texture and more liken to a rich moisturiser. I applied the Absorbing Dusting Powder to the rest of his body. The container for this is designed so it can be sprinkled directly on rather than having to put some in your hand first. The Dusting Powder was very fine and absorbed very well any dampness. I finished off the 'baby bath experience' by spritzing the Comforting Room Mist into the room. I was not keen on the level of fragrance from the spray as in comparison to the other products this is quite powerful and the smell of lavender can be overwhelming - unless of course you love the smell of lavender. All in all I think Tala enjoyed his bath products and I am looking forward to trying the Cocooning Massage Oil as after his bath Tala was so relaxed he fell asleep very quickly!!! All in all the experience was positive for the both of us.
