My next few reviews will be products from the NUBY range.... with a special Nuby competition for followers at the end of them...
The first is for the Nuby Soother and soother holder.
If you browse the 'dummy' shelf of any baby shop there is a huge array to choose from,
orthodontic, cherry shaped the list is long. The Nuby dummy Tala tried is a Natural Flex dummy which is BPA free - the first thing I check when looking at buying. These dummies have been 'designed to flex, stretch and move like a mother’s breast' and they are softer and more pliable on the area that covers the mouth. I found this product to be thoughtfully designed both for it's flexability and for it's weight, as I have found that heavier designed dummies fall out of babies mouths more easily which is a real hindrance when settling for sleep. I tried the dummy with the velcro dummy holder.

I loved the clip that secures the dummy to clothing as it was more secure than others I have used previously, but it is certainly not a one handed job! Previous clips I have used have had a 'crocodile' style attachment but the Nuby holder has a plastic slide along clip which is quite fiddly to attach as the crocodile clip does not open very wide and when you have got it open the slide along part requires 2 hands to secure. I will persevere with the clip as I am sure it will become easier with practice. It is firmly (and securely) attached to Tala's baby bag for when we head off out.
