Things kids do....can you believe this?!

I have been invited by Paula at Qwertymum to share some of the everyday amazing/funny/silly things are children do.  Where do I start!!

Well what springs to mind for me (apologies in advance for weak stomached readers) is a story about my then 11 year old son....

We were moving house and packing up my son's bedroom. All seemed normal, dust behind the wardrobe, single socks down the back of the chest of drawers (so that's where they get to?!) and an array of poor mislaid lego men.  Then we started to take down the posters and pictures from the walls.  One in particular seemed hard to remove compared to the others and for something held only by bluetack it was sticking firmly....

I gave a last tug and the poster came away, with it came a strange aroma..... and on the wall was a stain, long since dried but it seemed to have run down the wall when it had been 'more liquid' and what was that texture??

I confronted number 1 son and he looked confused at first but then memory came back....sadly!

Apparently he had overdone it with the Pot Noodles one evening and in the middle of the night he had been sick, so rather than call me or clean things up he went back to sleep.  The next morning in a stroke of 11 year old genius he decided to cover it up with a poster!!  I know what you are thinking - I did to.

So just when you thought they had outgrown lapses of logic you are faced with crusty walls.  Just an example of the things kids do....Can yours do better??
