Review: B Organic skincare

B Organic Skincare was set up by a Mum for her daughter who was suffering from Ezcema and Dermatitis and uses only organic ingredients in its products - a major plus for me when I am deciding on which products to use on my baby.  My 2 middle children suffered from Ezcema when they were younger and although they have all but grown out of it now, I remember the itching and sleepless nights they suffered as a result of it.

I was happy to review the Soothing Body Balm and the Baby Bubble Bath so I could see how the products worked not only for 5 month old Tala but for my 2 older children as well.  The Bubble Bath was lovely and mixed well in the bath, providing a good supply of bubbles but not too many (I find too many makes it harder to bath a baby as they tend to get everywhere!) The smell was delicate and not too overpowering.

The Soothing Body Balm was not as I expected.  When I think of Balms I tend to think of them as a product that 'melts' with the warmth of your hand and goes on rather than soaks into the skin. The B Organic Body Balm was harder in consistency than I had thought it would be and took a little while to 'melt' - this had pro's and cons to it.  The con (not really the right word but will use to coin the expression!) was that it needed more rubbing on than I anticipated and I scooped to much out of the container the first time.  The pro was that I was able to get the product exactly where I wanted it before it 'melted' and it was not as greasy as other balms I have used in the past.

I did like the products and should I be in the market for this type of item again I would consider the B Organic range.  The range is, in my opinion. comparative in price to other similar products on the market.  The products did not irritate either Tala's or my older children's skin but as they do not currently suffer with eczema I could not see a difference after using the range - other than gorgeous smelling, wonderfully clean children of course!!

NB I have been informed that the Balm is not as quick at melting as it does not contain Beeswax - just wanted to add this for information purposes.
