Babe Equip - Aqya Solari Washable Bed Protector REVIEW

This versatile product is a must! The Aqua Solari Washable Bed Protector is so far removed from the mattress protectors I used with my older 3 children.  Those protective sheets were either rubbery, not waterproof or just plain noisy when you laid on them! The Aqua Solari Bed Protector available from http://www.babe-equip.co.uk is more like a normal bed sheet or better still imagine a really thin quilted sheet - definitely doesn't crinkle when you sleep on it.

As we all know accidents happen when children are asleep, and Tala's nappies have been known to leak so this bed protector was great at ensuring any liquid did not absorb straight into the mattress which can be very hard to get clean again afterwards.

I also used it in a situation not usual for this type of item - my older son was ill recently and had a high temperature. I put the Aqua Solari 'sheet' on his bed and as it is very absorbent (can absorb up to 2 litres of liquid!) it meant that he was left soaking whilst he sweated due to his fever.  Again it protected the bed mattress but it also made my son more comfortable.

Easy to use

The Protector can be used under or over bed sheets and is secured by folding the 'wings' under the mattress - if you are on the look for an easy to wash, absorbent bed protector I would recommend this product.
