Babe Equip - Snack & Play Tray REVIEW

One of the frustrating things for small children when travelling is not having their toys within easy reach.  The Snack & Play Travel Tray is a handy portable solution to this.

The Snack & Play Tray provides a firm surface to allow children to draw, read, write or just have a table for all their toys whilst travelling and the tray itself is simply strapped around the back of your childs car seat and clipped to secure.  The strap itself is adjustable so is able to fit a range of car seat brands. Can also be used on prams that have a bar surround on them and according to the packaging can be used on airplane seats.

As well as the sturdy play surface the tray has pockets on each side for storage of crayons, pens. books etc and was also great for holding a cup or baby bottle.  The pockets are mesh on the one side so items can be seen easily. The tray has a soft padded rim to keep toys on the tray.

I found the tray fitted Tala's seat easily although I think the surface of the tray needed to be reinforced to make it firmer as it was starting to droop in the middle after a long period of time and the weight of Tala's toys!!  In an older child the tray would be able to be held firmly by the childs legs but in a smaller baby this was not the case hence the drooping.

I think this is a great idea that could mean a lot less complaining about long trips and entertained passengers - a winner in our car by far!! The material is easy to wipe with a damp cloth so it can be used as a tray for snacks as well.
