KiddieBase review - Part 2

As previously mentioned I have been chosen to review the KiddieBase website.

Part 1 of my KiddieBase review was left with me ordering a gorgeous little jumper for Tala from Sweetheart Knits (ordered 16th June) with my £25.00 budget.

Now how cute is that?

I was really impressed with the email communication I have had during the ordering process from Sweetheart Knits and their Customer Service was very good.  I had forgotten to put which size I wanted when I placed my order and they responded very quickly to my email to them and I was informed that 'The Knitting Grannies' would get right onto it and start knitting my order.  Full contact details were readily available via my order on the KiddieBase site.

While I was away in London this weekend my order arrived.  It was wrapped in brown paper and it had been tied up with string with a little note (a little touch that shows attention to detail)

Inside was my ordered jumper with a tag attached , washing instructions and a compliment card saying thank you and that 'The Knitting Grannies' had sent a Yo Ho Me Hearties Egg Cosy for my patience!

I have to say I was happy to wait for my item as I appreciate it is hand knitted to order, and I didn't feel that 7 working days was long at all. 

I tried the jumper on and I have to say the fit is very good.  I ordered age 1 - 2 years and I can see that there is room for growth as Tala is only 8 1/2 months.  I am very impressed with the quality and the £25.00 price tag (free delivery) was very reasonable in my eyes.

I think the idea of a 'marketplace' for independent retailers is a fantastic idea and somewhere you can uncover real gems and more unique items. KiddieBase is a great place to showcase these independents - have a look and see what you discover.
