With Tala becoming more mobile and wanting to be up and about more and more we have been looking at older baby toys and in particular ride on items. I was asked by the
Wooden Toyshop if I would be interested in reviewing for them and guess what sort of item I chose?!
The
BigJigs Ride-On Giraffe is exactly what I was looking for and I love wooden toys. The Giraffe arrived ready to be assembled and we set to it.

Although my husband is good at constructing things I was a little disappointed that there were no instructions in or on the box which I think would be a benefit as would pre-drilled holes as it did take extra time to get the screws in the correct places. Only tighten screws gently so as not to split the wood.

Once our giraffe was assembled Tala got down to testing it! I liked the fact that the wheels have a non-slip rubber strip round them but if going round a sharp corner this did come off but is so easy to just slip back on and off you go again. The giraffe has a handle that's perfect for small hands to hold onto and it even has it's own built in shape sorter on the side with 6 wooden shapes included - clever!
The giraffe is suitable from 12 months + and is bright and cheerful in its design as well as sturdy.

Tala loved being pushed along on the giraffe and I am sure it wont be long before he is pushing himself around on it. The
