REVIEW - My Munchkin Organic baby Towel

I have been reviewing the My Munchkin Organic Apron Baby Towel recently.  This award winning idea is a towel with a difference.

A hooded towel that is shaped so you can actually use both hands when removing your baby from their bath, it's organic and also makes a great gift as it comes in its own little towelling bag.

The towel is 100% pure organic cotton and is really soft on the skin although I would recommend washing it before first use to increase the absorbency.  It has a unique 'butterfly' shape so that it can be held round your neck with velcro tabs, leaving both hands free to pick your child out of the bath without the usual approach of having to hold the towel against yourself using your chin!

It is a very generous size towel which is great as allows older children to use it but does take a bit of trial and error to use it correctly as the amount of material kept getting in my way at first and the hooded part seemed to keep ending up in the wrong place!  I found it easiest to fasten, hold outwards stretched along your arm holding the hooded part and then sit on the side of the bath. Remove and place baby onto your knee, head into the hood, and then wrap.

Once I had got the hang of it, it really did make bath time easier and less of a balancing act of towels and baby.  Tala was able to be dried really easily due to the size of it and I really liked the hooded part.  Most hooded towels I have come across have the hood formed into a sort of point and it normally is too big for the babies head but the My Munchkin towel had a more shaped hood that was a great fit.

The towel is priced at £24.99 (less any relevant P & P charges) and I have to say that I do think this is a reasonable price for a towel this size.  Not only great for after a bath but if you keep on whilst baby is in the tub it stops you getting wet from their splashes as well!

Although I was dubious at first it did exactly as promised and turned out to be a helpful product.
