Can tooth brushing be fun??

As a parent I want to make sure that my children brush their teeth twice a day and most importantly brush them properly.  My children are not great at either of the above - I still have to nag them to make sure.

They have tried wetting the brush so if I feel it I think they have used it.. rubbed toothpaste on their teeth with their finger so you can smell toothpaste on their breath.  I am sure I am not the only parent that has seen this!!

In our previous house we had electric toothbrushes but in our current house there are no sockets in the bathroom to enable us to use them so we had to return to manual brushes.  As my kids tell me - tooth brushing is so boring.  Enter Arm & Hammers My Way Kids Spinbrush....

Not only is it battery powered ( 2 x AAA batteries included) but it is also able to be customised 'My Way'.  The box includes 141 stickers including letters, pictures and comes in boy and girl versions.  We were sent both versions to have a look at and the array of stickers choices are sure to appeal to all tastes and interests.  (Colours of stickers and artwork may vary)

'Girls' version
Pre-teen and Middle Son couldn't wait to get started on decorating their brushes.  To decorate you simply apply the stickers to a dry, clean brush making sure to smooth out any air bubbles and then allow to dry for half an hour.  Stickers are permanent and water safe.

The other joy was that they were excited to actually use the brush and wanted to use it straight away.  The spin action was really effective considering it was battery rather than mains powered and although I am not sure this a permanent cure for tooth brushing 'boredom' I am pleased with the enthusiasm so far  - let's hope it continues.

The Arm & Hammer My Way Kids Spinbrush RRP £5.99 and is available from Boots and leading supermarkets.
