Gluten-Free Labeling

Dear GIG of SW Washington - Vancouver,

The FDA Requests comments on proposed gluten-free labeling and safety study.
The documents will be posted on the FDA regulations website (www.regulations.gov; search for docket 2005-N-0404) Wed, August 3rd. The comment period will be open until Nov 2nd.

Individuals are encouraged to send their comments to the FDA. Comments documented by scientific research are most valuable.

GIG will send the FDA comments. As a Group and Leader of GIG, we strongly encourage you to allow GIG to represent all of GIG branches. If you make comments, please do so as an individual, health professional, etc - but not as a GIG branch leader. It is important that GIG have a single voice and a single message to the FDA.
