The tablet includes built in auto rotation to change from landscape to portait that gives it that iPod feel, stylus (hopefully less fingerprints!) an SD card slot and a storage capacity of 128MB - not bad considering it is aimed at children aged 4 - 9 years!.
Although the InnoTab has many inbuilt features, parents can also download extra games and learning apps as well as there being a range of game cartridges featuring the usual Disney characters. I have to say this bit was disappointing for me as it would nice to see something different come on to the market rather than the same old 'Cars' 'Toy Story' and such like. I think this may make it a little 'uncool' with the older limit of the intended age range but I am happy to be proved wrong.

The InnoTab will be on general sale from September at an RRP of £80.00 although I have seen that you can pre-order now on some websites. Compared to how much an Ipod or similar costs it does seem a reasonable price and will be on many Christmas lists I should imagine.
After viewing a presentation on the product we were allowed to try them out for ourselves....
I liked the design of the InnoTab especially the rubber corners that would give me some confidence in its durability. The buttons were self explanatory and images were clear. I will be receiving an InnoTab for review so I will be able to go into more detail at that point.
The launch was a great chance to see the product up close before it is released and to also meet up with some lovely fellow bloggers. My thanks go to Vtech for inviting me.
