Di Palomo White Grape range review

Di Palomo are a company I had not come across before.  They are a British company (from sunny Torquay!) although their products are Italian inspired

We were sent the White Grape Body Butter and the White Grape Bath & Shower Cream for review purposes.  Both products were packaged beautifully in boxes.

The Body Butter was especially lovely to unwrap and the attention to detail was evident throughout.

The White Grape image was carried throughout the packaging which I think added to the appeal although I was not keen on the fact that all instructions were in English and French and as an Italian inspired company I would have expected to have seen it written in Italian if another language needed to be added.

The Body Butter, according to the ingredients, contained over 30% natural cocoa butter and the feel of the butter on the skin also suggested this.  It melted at body temperature and was easily absorbed and left no greasy residue.  It felt smooth to the touch and had a pleasantly delicate smell, although I would have to say that it did not especially remind me of white grapes had the packet not said it was!

I liked the way the Body Butter left my skin feeling and thought that the RRP of £15 for 200ml was good value considering other makes on the market.

The Body Butter was firm to the touch but melted into the skin well.

The Bath & Shower Cream was in a pump dispenser which surprised me but I really like this format as you can add one or two pumps and vary to your own tastes without wasting any.  This product was also packaged with the White Grape logo.

I added 5 pumps to running bath water and the product started to foam although I did have to add a few more to get a mass of bubbles.

The Bath & Shower Cream had a stronger fragrance that the Body Butter, although again it didn't remind me particularly of white grapes but I did like the aroma.  The smell also lingered on my skin after my bath which was nice.  The RRP of the Shower Cream is £9 for 250ml.

There are further products in this range as well as many other ranges and a lovely selection of gift sets.

Lovely packaging, good price and nice product - I will be bearing Di Palomo in mind for the future....
