Review - Heads & Tails Jobs puzzle

Do your children like puzzles? Are you looking for something that is educational and fun? Gibsons Games have a lovely range of childrens puzzles called My World and we have been sent 2 puzzles from the range to review. 

My first review is for the Heads & Tails Jobs puzzle.  This is great as a first puzzle and it features 8 different people in uniforms that slot together easily  (3 pieces per person).  The design is bright and bold and the pieces are made from 100% recycled cardboard.

The pieces are a great size for small hands and are fully interchangable with one another so you can mix them up and have some fun.  Tala was younger than the recommended age for this puzzle of 2 years but that didn't stop him from joining in!  He enjoyed watching us match the pieces and was certainly taken by the characters.

The range has been developed in conjunction with a child Psychologist to ensure the range is developmentally appropriate for the target age on the box.  Inside each box is also a very handy information leaflet that explains the benefits of playing with jigsaw puzzles along with tips on how to make it a fun learning experience for your child.  This puzzle encourages: Creativity/Imagination, Logic and lots of fun...


A final small feature I also liked was the push out slot on the top of the box.  It allows the puzzle pieces to be 'posted' through when it is tidied away.  I always found that making a game of tidying toys made it more likely to be done!  Lovely puzzle that will be used many times in our household.
