Review - My Body puzzle

Further to my first review on the Gibson Games My World range this review is for the My Body puzzle.

My World - My Body

Unlike the Heads & Tails puzzle this is for the older child and spans the infant school age group of 4 - 7 years.  Inside the box are 2 puzzles.  One is 'My Body Outside':

This is an amazing learning puzzle that has so many features.  Not only does it combine slot together and traditional jigsaw pieces but it has places to insert jigsaw labels for the appropriate body parts.  It is bright and colourful to the eye and although it does have many facts incorporated into it the puzzle is still fun.

With these My Body puzzles you can learn about the different parts of the body in a clever way and the facts are written in the appropriate target age format so there is no misunderstanding.  I even learnt something new from the facts on the puzzle:

The second puzzle in the box is 'My Body Inside' and is similar to the 'Outside' but it shows the workings of the human body on the inside - don't panic I don't think it was graphic or scary and in fact it was all done in a gentle way that still gets the facts across to the child.  Like the other puzzle it has the same format of facts, puzzle labels and bright drawings.

As with the whole of the My World range, they have been developed in conjunction with a child Psychologist to ensure your child will get the most out of them.  They are age range targeted to make sure the content is appropriate for their development.  This age is shown clearly on the box.

Another fun fact!

I have to say I really like these puzzles and especially the way they combine facts into a fun puzzle.  See learning can be fun!
