Review and win with Mookie Toys...

Time is flying and Tala will be celebrating his 1st on the 4th October.  Although he is trying his best with his crawling he has found his feet and is at the stage of having to pull up and stand on anything that will allow it.

I have been looking around at toys that encourage movement but are suitable for babies from a year old.

We were sent a blue Scramblebug (4 colours are available) for Tala to try out and the first thing that I liked when it arrived was that it required no assembly - so no endless instructions in 12 languages, no screws and no stickers just simply unfold and it is ready to go!  The wheels reminded me of an office chair as they really do move in any direction and are study with an anti-slip band around them.  Tala was very taken with the wheels!

He mastered pushing himself backwards quite quickly but moving himself forward would take more practise.  The handlebars were non-slip which was helpful, especially for younger children, but I would have continued that onto the seat which is quite slippery and Tala slipped sidewards a few times in his pursuits.

The Scramblebug is easy to fold up for storage and means it can be taken with you for days out.  It is lightweight and compact.  A clever design that well worth a look.
