REVIEW - Clinica Tissue Oil

My daughter spends about 10 hours a week in the swimming pool and with all that chlorine can suffer with dried out skin.  It can sometimes flake and nothing really seems to moisturise it before she is back in the pool again.

I have asked her to try out Clinica Tissue Oil as part of my review of the product.  Clinica is recommended as an after sun nourisher, pregnancy massage oil as well as for dry skin conditions and is safe for all ages.  Pre-teen has been using it mostly on her legs and arms as this is the most affected area.

As the product is a blend of natural oils it is quick to be absorbed into the skin.  The oil is very 'light' and has a delicate smell to it.  It is easy to pour from the bottle and the main problem we had was using too much before realising that a little at a time is the best way to apply it.  As soon as we had applied the oil to mine and my daughters arms and legs (yes I had to have a try!) the skin felt really smooth and reminded me of how my skin feels when I have used sun tan lotion.

After using it for over a week my daughter definitely says her skin feels softer to the touch and I cannot see any dry flaky patches at all.  I did find when I used it that I had to wash my hands straight afterwards as it seemed to take longer to be absorbed into the hands than anywhere else.

My daughter also tried the product on the dry skin on her face but only once as she didn't like the feel of it there.  It didn't really feel greasy and no clothes were stained by using it - pre-teen often jumped straight into bed after applying it with no problems.

We will keep using the Clinica Tissue Oil we have and, as a little goes so far, our 200ml bottle will last quite a while. It is also available in a 60ml bottle which is great for holidays or to keep in your handbag when out and about.
